Our campground rules and guest guidelines are designed to create a safe, family-friendly, and enjoyable camping experience for all visitors. Please review the following policies regarding guests, quiet hours, pets, campfires, golf carts, and campground safety before your stay.

General Camping Guidelines

  • You must be 21 years of age to camp.
  • Campground check-in is at 1:00 PM. Early arrivals or late check-outs are not available. Check-out is 11:00 AM.
  • Cabin check-in is at 2:00 PM. Cabin check-out is 11:00 AM.
  • Please observe our 5 MPH speed limit throughout the park. This is strictly enforced for the safety of children, pedestrians, pets, and all campground guests.
  • Quiet hours are from 11:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Children must be at their campsites by 10:30 PM.
  • Please respect your neighbors and other campers by using walkways rather than cutting through campsites.
  • All campground buildings are smoke-free.
  • Fireworks are never permitted.

Visitor & Guest Policy

  • Visitors and guests must utilize the overflow parking areas when at the campground.
  • All visitors must register in the front office and pay a guest fee.
  • The daily guest fee is $10.00 per person ages 18 and older and $5.00 for ages 17 and under.
  • Seasonal campers’ guests will receive a discounted rate; please make the front office aware before the fee is collected.
  • In addition to registered campsite occupants, there is a limit of 4 registered visitors permitted on a campsite at any time.
  • Large gatherings, parties, or excessive guest traffic is prohibited.
  • Registered campsite occupants are responsible for the actions of their guests.
  • We appreciate your cooperation in helping maintain a peaceful community for everyone.
  • You are responsible for the actions and safety of your visitors and guests.
  • Whispering Pines Campground is in no way responsible for the actions and safety of your visitors and guests.
  • It is your responsibility to make sure your visitors and guests learn, understand, and abide by all the rules and regulations of Whispering Pines Campground.
  • It is your responsibility to make sure your visitors and guests know what fees they may incur and the sanctions for violation of the rules.

Children & Family Safety

  • Children must always be accompanied by a parent when using the restrooms.
  • Children must be supervised at all times and never left on the grounds unattended.
  • As per state law, no child under 16 years of age is permitted in the pool or pool area without responsible adult supervision.
  • Glass of any kind is not permitted in the pool or splash pad areas.
  • No bike riding after dark.
  • Anyone under age 15 must wear a helmet while riding a bike.

Campfires & Fire Safety

  • Campfires are permitted in the fire rings or fireplaces until midnight, 12:00 AM.
  • Fires should be attended and properly extinguished.
  • The firepit or fireplace must not be moved without prior consent from management.
  • Per order of the Fire Marshal, fires should not be higher than 18 inches and should never be left unattended.

Pet Policy

  • Due to health regulations, pets are not permitted in areas where food is being served.
  • Up to 2 well-behaved pets are welcome at Whispering Pines Campground per campsite.
  • Overly disruptive or aggressive pet behavior is not accepted at our campground.
  • Pets must be leashed and under control at all times.
  • Pets must not be left unattended on the campsite.
  • A rabies certificate should be available as an e-document or hard copy at all times.
  • Please be aware that you are solely responsible for cleaning up after your pet.
  • Visitors and guests are not permitted to bring pets into the campground.
  • No pets are permitted in the cabins. If evidence of a pet is found by campground management in cabins, you will be asked to leave our campground immediately, and there will be no refund for unused time.

Trash, Cleanliness & Facilities

  • Help us keep critters away by depositing all trash in the dumpster.
  • Garbage must be wrapped and placed in dumpsters.
  • Please do not place garbage in small trash barrels throughout the campground.
  • Do not leave garbage in fireplaces or on the ground.
  • Clotheslines are not permitted for hanging household laundry.
  • Dishes are not to be washed in the bathhouses. Foodborne particles can be left behind and cause an allergic reaction to another individual.

Golf Cart Policy

  • Seasonal campers only are allowed to operate golf carts on the property.
  • All golf carts must be electric.
  • One golf cart is permitted per site.
  • Only licensed drivers may operate golf carts.
  • No golf carts are to be driven after 11:00 PM.
  • A valid copy of golf cart insurance must be on file to operate the cart on the premises.
